BDS and Jason Martin team up for a top ten in Colorado ASCS action

Dupo, IL (October 12, 2017) After uncharacteristically struggling at the Fall Brawl at I-80 Speedway a couple weekends ago, Nebraska native Jason Martin and the BDS Motorsports team found better speed and more comfortable handling for Martin last weekend at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado. While rain claimed Friday night’s program, Martin and BDS returned Saturday and finished with a strong eighth place finish in ASCS National competition.
In heat race action, Jason lined the BDS machine up sixth and was able to move forward to a fourth-place finish. Earning crucial passing points, Jason’s heat race finish put him lining up ninth in the 25-lap A-main event. As laps clicked away, Jason maintained his position inside the top ten and ended the weekend with an eighth-place finish. With the struggles that he and the team had faced previously, this was a great rebound and good way to end the weekend. BDS Motorsports would like to send a sincere thanks out to Jason for jumping in the seat of the BDS #1 and making the trip to Colorado.
The BDS machine will not be making the trip to the Short Track Nationals this weekend. Up next for the team will be a return to Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas next weekend, followed by the ASCS Fall Fling at Creek County Speedway on October 27th and 28th. Last year’s Fall Fling brought out a huge field of ASCS sprint cars and also a great field of local midgets. Following the Fall Fling, the team will have a weekend off before it heads out West to Cocopah Speedway in Arizona on November 9th, 10th, and 11th.
